Salaam all. The Mudir Issue Refers.
Alhamdu li Llah! We are not oblivious of the fact that most time issues arise, criticism follows headlong. In all honesty by those with fair affection for the betterment of this Ummah in the current situation, dragging people of thoughts into argument on the position of Mudir on such issues is informed by two main reasons. A contempt for the revered position he occupied for possible lesser feat to adequately discharge on the basis of knowledge. This might have left him with only respect for the hitherto constituted glory which may or may not help matters today. On this, most issues of criticism appear borne out of this situation.
Two, support for his position might be myopic to the current state of the matter. To this end, a thought in some quarter suggest Mudir as the head of Markaz should toll the line of erudite old sages which could give him equal accolades and honour that would absorb him from dishing out solo-solutions and responses to issues brewing out. The considered opinion is for him to see beyond using his personal experience to judge matters. Rather, it is high time an institutional academia was established in the name of Markaz. For instance

This is an avenue to better represent Islam well by floating a Council of Ulama' under the aegis of Alumni of the Institute and other loyalists. With Mudir as the head, issues are thoroughly deliberated and the outcome of which becomes publishable in the name of the Institute. With this, scholars are allowed to critique issues and decisions emanating therefrom. Two areas of advantage stand out. One is the benefit of having informed opinionated decision and two, the closeness to individual's immunity from any criticism rather than the Institute as a body.
More respect would be accorded to the body and there is possibility of others copying such formation. Above all, rather than the sporadic and clandestine criticism to linger on, the Institution of Markaz assumes another new outlook in the committee of scholarship.
Finally, a signal would be sent to Institutions to re-package the Curriculum of preparing future leaders with better stuff and sustainable administrative wherewithal. This would as well nip in the buds unnecessary affronts on the leadership of this Ummah.
