✨📜 Ghazaliyat 📜✨

(Sayings of al-Ghazali)

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“I saw a man in the desert who was 120 years old. I asked him about his vitality at such an age. He replied:
‘I abandoned envy, so the body remained.’
➖ Worthy of reflection.

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“If we knew what is said about us in our absence, we would not smile at the faces of many people!”
➖ (A truth.)

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“A wise man was asked, ‘Why is the sky clear?’
He smiled and said: ‘Because humans do not live there!’”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“A little water can save you, and a great flood can drown you.
Learn always to be content with what you have.”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“To succeed in life you need two things:
✨ Confidence …
✨ And the ability to ignore (what doesn’t benefit you).”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“Stupidity is a deficit; pretending to be foolish is perfection.
Oblivion is loss; deliberate overlooking is wisdom!”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“That unknown distress you feel — perhaps it is sins calling you to seek forgiveness.”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“The Qur’an is like your third eye:
When you are choked by the smoke of worldly life, it benefits, intercedes, and elevates you.
🌹 Do not abandon it ♥️”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“Prayer makes a person more in control of his emotions.
Allah says:
‘Man was created anxious; when evil touches him he is distraught, and when good touches him he is withholding — except for those who pray.’”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“The envious one sees you as arrogant;
The lover sees you as wonderful!”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“Do not be hurt if someone denies your favor to them —
Street lights are forgotten in daylight!”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“No single sending of blessings upon the Prophet ï·º rises to the heavens except that it returns tenfold.
How astonishing that anyone would be stingy with himself!”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“A tree fell, and everyone heard the sound of its fall,
While an entire forest grows in silence and makes no noise.
👉 People notice your downfall, not your excellence.”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“Some turns in life are harsh — but they are necessary to continue the journey.”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“Learn to illuminate those around you,
Even if your own inner corners are very dark.”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“What brings ongoing misfortune is not bad luck,
But accumulated sins we have forgotten.
⚠️ Indeed, sins remove blessings.”

🌿 Al-Ghazali (On marriage):
“In the early days of Islam, the permissible was made easy so the forbidden became difficult.
In our time, the permissible has become difficult, and the forbidden has become easy.”
➖ (A truth.)

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“A poor young man proposed to a girl and they did not approve.
Later, a rich but immoral man proposed, and they agreed, saying: ‘God will guide him!’
Why did they not say about the first: ‘God will provide for him’?
👉 Is not the Guide also the Provider?”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
For reflection only:
“We search our pockets for the smallest coins to give in charity,
Then ask Allah to grant us the highest Paradise!
How small our gifts — and how great our requests!”

🌿 Al-Ghazali:
“May you be well wherever you are.
Remember three supplications in your prostration (sujood):

O Allah, I ask You for a good ending.

O Allah, grant me sincere repentance before death.

O Allah, Controller of hearts, keep my heart firm upon Your religion.”

🌟 If you intend to share these words:
Intend goodness by it — perhaps Allah will relieve for you a distress in this world or the Hereafter.

💡 Do good even if you see it as small,
For you do not know which deed will admit you to Paradise.

So do not keep it to yourself; spread it forward and count it as ongoing charity (sadaqah jariyah) for you and your parents.
